    Thanks so much for your comment on our class page in New Zealand. Thank you for the kind things that you saw in our post about the school garden.

    To answer your questions yes our Y7 students are 11-12 years of age. Students start school in New Zealand when they turn five as Y1. We have Y7 and Y8 students in our classroom.

    Thanks for mentioning the sandals one thing we seem to always get a comment about is the shoes - we usally don't wear any although it is complusory to wear shoes (or sandals) to and from school. Most of the time the students take them off when they get to school and go around in bare feet.

    I've assigned a student to take some photographs of our lunches this week.
