More hail!

It was 9 degrees Celcius in our classroom today.  That is Very VERY cold in South Africa. Remember, we have no indoor heating system and no heaters at school of any kind. Our Winter uniform is a t-shirt and a nylon sweat suit/tracksuit...definitely not warm enough for 9 degrees...we can't feel our fingers and toes!

At break time the boys ran outside to play with the hail, but never having done it before, they didn't know how cold it would make them, they scooped it up and piled it into their "hammock'ed" t-shirts, and stamped in it with their shoes... then I had to deal with 10 crying boys with cold hands and wet feet! Silly bananas!
