On Thursday it was 10 degrees Celsius! The coldest day of the year. At about 2 it started to pour down and then it hailed! We ran outside to catch hail in our hands.
It is very unusual for us to get hail, and we never get snow. Occasionally it will snow in the mountains, and families will drive up for the weekend especially to see and play with the snow.
The average winter day is 15 - 20 degrees C, but this week it's 5 - 10 degrees C. To us it is VERY cold! Brrr!
Is that an actual picture from the storm? How common is it to have hail in South Africa where your school is?
